National Film Competiton 2011


The Malta Cine Circle invite you to attend in the National Film Competition 2011 at Gemini HallHotel Le MeridienBalluta onThursdayAugust 4thstarting at 7.30pm. There is going to be screened 14 participating short films, followed by presentation of awards, and afterwards you can gather and network with other members, so bring your family and friends.

Festival Background
This event is of significant importance for the current and prospective members of the Malta Cine Circle. This event goes back to the mid-50's. Hundreds of local productions have been entered in this competition and several have also successful in competitions overseas. These films, ranging from fiction, travelogues, documentaries, animations, and others have provided a unique visual record of the Maltese way of life over these years.
